Pakistanis are corrupt in nature not only rich but also the poor, as far as today’s Pakistan is concern, if not everyone but most of the Pakistanis are. Sorry it’s harsh but a bitter truth. Yes to some extent it’s THE MEDIA but overall we are not doing any good to us too. The whole world even Friends consider us as corrupt. Let’s take an example, like if you have an aerial view you will see the color which is in bulk or which is the base, it will look prominent on earth similarly when the whole world sees us they see corruption because most of us are corrupt no matter rich or poor. Please stop hiding behind Conspiracies.

Very few people in Pakistan talked or campaigned against corruption and I am talking about known figures. One of them is Imran Khan (IK) who is fighting against corruption continuously and pretty aggressively. And now a days IK becomes a serious threat to corrupt mafias. Though he is successful to create the awareness in the masses but it is not enough and to me the biggest reason is lack of education, and related reasons are uneducated voter and the caste system, harassment to the voters. IK’s Tehreek-e-Ehtesab is one of his efforts against corruption and due to above mentioned reasons some media groups are portraying his efforts as anti-government but actually it is pertinent to understand that IK clearly mentioned many times that his anti-corruption efforts are not against any single person or family or party it’s against corruption itself. After a great start from KPK PTI’s Tehreek-e-Ehtsab is heading towards other parts of Pakistan to educate people and create awareness against corruption but some jurnos and media houses are trying to give the impression that it is a failure or it is going to be a failed movement. One can understand easily that how The Mafia is getting together against this movement and IK. And actually it makes the support stronger for IK that all the mafia standing against one. It gives the hope to the people that someone is still there to fight for them. Either you support PTI or IK but one thing is for sure that his stance is Right. Corrupt and Corruption should be curbed and penalized only then Pakistan will flourish and it is only possible when the people of Pakistan should be educated in a way that they know their rights and they stand for their rights.

It is a tough task to create the awareness amongst the masses because as mentioned earlier most of the people are corrupt and uneducated they think that this movement of IK is against them they fear the consequences of their wrong doings. So they are resisting pretty hardly YET! They are trying old tactics to stop this movement of PTI by media management like IK’s corruption news or IK’s personal life etc. But after ALLAH thanks to IK it’s because of him people are much more aware of the matters now. IK on the other hand is determined as Rock as ever. People criticize him for his seemingly weird decisions but until now PTI under the leadership of IK proved to be the best opposition ever in the history of Pakistan. PTI and IK are making their opponents worry and to some extent made them panic now. The proof of it that central government and all the provinces are under pressure to deliver in reality and not on papers only. It seems that they are being pushed to deliver which is ultimately good for Pakistan. In the past it was the practice in PPP and PMLN tenures that all the development was made only on papers and still they are trying to play the same game but this time PTI in opposition making a big difference and making their dreams shattered.

But it is not enough and a lot of work still to do in this regard. And frankly speaking IK is a big source of income for some of the media houses and some jurnos. To his supporters, sympathizers and admirers it is enough that he is determined and focused after all rubbish happening around and against him. May ALLAH help those who are really struggling for Pakistan. Aameen.

Imran Khan vs "THE OLD MAFIA"

Imran Khan vs "THE OLD MAFIA"

Author: Farooq Zeeshan Raza

I personally attended the Lahore Rally; I have never attended a political gathering bigger than that one in Lahore on 30th Oct, 2011. People from all sects of life were there like families, students, senior citizens, poors, rich, men women, I mean everybody was there. Everybody was happy. There faces were shining with jubilation and passion. Why they all were gathered there? The answer to this question is simple and that is "Change" and people belieave that Imran Khan is the only HOPE whatever the critics and opponents of Imran Khan Think.

Since 25th April, 1996 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is talking about Justice, Humanity, Self Esteem, Education, and Corruption in the society and many other evils in our country. Neutrally speaking, Imran Khan proved himself different from other politicians. He talks about the "Change", the change which badly hurts "THE OLD MAFIA", the change which threatens the status quo of the old mafia. PTI is different from other political parties in a way that it is the only party which wasn't established by the "ESTABLISHMENT". PTI talks about keeping itself apart from the system to bring change in the society and in the political culture of Pakistan. It is very right that if you are a part of system then how can you change the system? Critics of PTI argue that "Imran don't have a team or any known faces with him". History tells that movements like PTI can only be successful with the help of new faces, people who are not the part of the system or fed on the system. It's very simple that if you are willing changes then you have to try something new. At least, you have to give one deserving go to anything new if you want change. Otherwise it'll be injustice to reject anything without giving it a chance. I have a question for the people who said Imran don't have team. My question is how much the old mafia delivered who got "TEAMS"? Did the old mafia and its teams deliver Justice, Education, and corruption free society? Keep in mind my friends 80% to 90% people in Pakistan don't even have clean water to drink. So what these veteran teams deliver to us? In Urdu it's called "Chor Machaye Shor" in this contest it means the old mafia could not deliver even with teams but it is blaming Imran Khan and PTI.

Keeping in view the change that Imran talks about, the old mafia is got frustrated especially after The Historical 30th Oct 2011 Lahore Rally and now they are making a "faster propaganda" against Imran Khan and PTI. In this "JOB" almost all "paid tools" of the old mafia are involved (politicians, journalists, news channels etc.). Imran Khan also possesses a very charismatic personality which no politician of today's Pakistan possesses. People of Pakistan seem to believe in him at this time, especially the youth of Pakistan sees hope in Imran Khan. They believe that only Imran Khan can bring Pakistan out of this mess created by the old mafia.

Example of the old mafia propoganda against Imran Khan is this news that after the Lahore Rally PTI workers are "Threatning" few of our journalists who are writing against Imran Khan. I can only smile on this. I think if and I mean if somebody in aggression does this I really condemn this and Imran Khan also asked his workers and supporters not to involve in these kinds of activities and this good. We should have the courage to bear the arrows from our critics because critics are the people who guide us to the Right Path.

The old mafia is trying hard to distract Imran Khan and its workers and supporters with its low graded, dirty but sharp tricks and therefore Imran and his team should take real care now because getting rid of this old mafia is not easy. The journey to change has just began! Just like today Mr. Nawaz Sharif said while talking to media that "talking about change is easy but practically it is difficult." At last, Mr. Nawaz came to know that practically delivering is important not just talking, talking, and talking.

There is a lot to say and write but it can't be done in one go. So keep the rest for any other time. INSHALLAH. Please live with harmony and peace with others. Express yourself sensibly & decently but do express yourself, don't hesitate and most importantly VOTE intelligently this time around because your vote counts a lot for this country. Long Live Pakistan!

DO WE REALLY DESERVE DEMOCRACY IN PAKISTAN?

Well in my view we DON'T... because democracy is for the nations where each and every person knows his/her rights, where every person is free to express himself, free to cast his/her vote.... Are we in Pakistan fulfilling these requirements for true democracy? I don't think so. Look at the far flung areas/cities of all four provinces of our country, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, and Khyber Pakhtoonkhwah (formerly NWFP) until today people are voting on the basis of CASTE, MONEY, and FEAR.... is this a true democracy? Pakistan's most successful periods are of Military rules and this is the fact proven by history. And I prefer military rule if democracy fails like today.
